Executive Vice President of EGAS and Chairman of CarGas Conduct Field Tour to Monitor Natural Gas Fueling Stations During Eid al-Adha

n implementation of directives issued by Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, emphasizing the importance of continuous field oversight and ensuring the smooth operation of all work sites, the Executive Vice President of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) conducted a field inspection tour of natural gas fueling stations. As part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy — particularly its first pillar focused on securing and supplying petroleum products to citizens — Engineer Mohamed Khudair, EGAS Deputy Executive Managing Director for Planning, Gas Projects, and Business Development, along with Mr. Tarek Farouk, Assistant Executive Managing Director for Security at EGAS, and a number of accompanying officials, visited one of CarGas stations. They were joined by Dr. Engineer Mohamed Ismail, Chairman and Managing Director of the Natural Gas Vehicles Company (CarGas). The tour aimed to monitor the sustained provision of compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling services to vehicles throughout the Eid al-Adha holiday. During the inspection, the team verified the station’s operational efficiency, confirmed its full readiness to deliver services at the highest standards, and ensured the strict application of safety protocols to guarantee safe and uninterrupted service to citizens throughout the holiday period. The delegation also inspected all safety equipment, gas leak detectors, fire-fighting systems, and emergency response tools, while reviewing the readiness of technical teams and staff to handle any urgent situations. Engineer Mohamed Khudair took the opportunity to speak directly with several customers, listening to their feedback on the quality of service and the availability of natural gas fueling stations nationwide. Customers praised the ease of obtaining the service and the consistent operation of stations during the Eid al-Adha holiday. Dr. Engineer Mohamed Ismail affirmed that CarGas maintains a state of full readiness through round-the-clock monitoring and field visits, in line with the directives of the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. He noted that station teams are operating at full capacity to ensure continuous and efficient service delivery. At the conclusion of the tour, Engineer Mohamed Khudair commended the high level of operational safety and station preparedness. He expressed appreciation for the dedication of all employees and their commitment to the highest standards of safe operation, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to providing citizens with the most efficient and secure services.
